MS10 Magnetic StirrerA heavy-duty magnetic stirrer with the capability of stirring up to 20 litres. Twin Rare Earth magnets coupled to a low profile DC motor guarantee effective stirring in the most demanding situations. A speed range of 300 - 1900 rpm gives the stirrer added versatility. |

Hot Plates and Magnetic Stirrer Hot Plates
IEC manufacture a range of hot plates and hot plate magnetic stirrers. using either a thermotat or simmerstat to control the temperature the range includes PTFE coated hotplates and normal uncoated hotplates..

IEC Hot PlatesThe IEC Hot Plates provide a reliable and rugged source of controlled heat for the laboatory. The heating element is recessed and bonded into the underside of the alloy plate for total thermal efficiency. A ceramic board provides insulation and baffle plates ensure that the housing remains cool even after prolonged operation at maximum temperature (400°C). "Simmerstat" control permits continuous adjustment of plate temperature from Warm (Setting 1) to approximately 400°C (Full Setting), but does not hold the plate to specific set temperature. "Thermostat" control permits continuous adjustment of plate temperature, controlling at a specific temperature in degrees as selected on the control knob. Standard model controls up to 300°C maximum. |

IEC Magnetic Stirrer Hot PlatesThe IEC Magnetic Stirrer Hotplates have a compact housing, good stability and controls are well spaced, easy to use and are recessed for protection from both mechanical damage and from spillage. The "Alnico" magnet is driven by a powerful brushless motor with smoothly variable electronic speed control providing slow speed for titration work. The large pressure die cast top plate is machined flat and epoxy coated for protection agains corrosion. The heating element is recessed and bonded into the underside of the alloy plate for total thermal efficiency. A ceramic board provides insulation and baffle plates ensure that the housing remains cool even after prolonged operation at maximum temperature (400°C). Available with alloy of Teflon coated top plate. Simmerstat and Thermostat versions are also available. |
